Shared support

A continuing connection.

A focused fund brings monthly contributions together for its chosen charities. Support comes together around a shared purpose, with the size of the pool depending on the people giving.

A wider audience

Help people find you.

Reach people who care about your cause or community, including people exploring giving through work. Your profile explains what you do and why your work belongs in the fund.

A shared effort

Help telling the story.

We gather and prepare fund news from charity publications and optional updates. You can focus on your work while we help supporters understand it.

From a conversation to a connection

How it works
for your charity.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your work.

Share your charity number, the people or places you serve, and which fund feels relevant. Links to your website, accounts and existing reports give us a useful starting point.

  2. 02

    We consider the fit.

Fund boards bring relevant expertise and experience to reviewing how your work fits the fund’s purpose. We consider your registration, actual delivery, published evidence and financial context together.

  3. 03

    Agree the relationship.

For a charity selected for a fund, we confirm participation, the public profile and contact details together. Payment arrangements, the funding purpose and any conditions are agreed before funding.

  4. 04

    Bring support together.

Supporters choose the fund and contribute to its shared pool. The fund record explains allocations and payments, while future fund updates will help people stay close to the charities’ work. Funding amounts depend on contributions and allocation decisions.

Your work, in your words

Good news.
A little help
sharing it.

Extra reporting is not a condition of membership or funding.

An existing newsletter, a news link, an annual report or a few notes can be enough to share a story. We can help turn supplied material into a short, sourced summary for your charity to check.

Sharing is optional. If you have no new update, we can draw on available published material. You do not need to produce a fresh report every month or share identifiable beneficiary stories.

Your ordinary accountability and agreed funding conditions still apply. Optional publicity is a separate choice.

What changes for your charity

Share the effort
behind fundraising.

Receiving a donation is one part of fundraising. Finding supporters, helping them understand your work and keeping the connection going all take time. We take on that shared work for the fund.

Finding supporters.

We take on

Explaining the fund’s purpose and its charities to individuals and companies. People can start with a cause or place they care about and discover the organisations behind it.

For your charity

A route to people who may care about your work but do not yet know your name. Your charity appears within a focused group, with a clear explanation of what it does and why it fits.

Building ongoing support.

We take on

Bringing monthly contributions together in a shared pool for the fund’s chosen charities, and explaining how that money is allocated and paid out.

For your charity

An ongoing relationship with a fund whose supporters give to the shared purpose. Your charity can benefit from people choosing the fund, alongside the support you raise directly.

Keeping people informed.

We take on

Gathering charity news and published material, preparing future fund updates and rotating attention between the charities once updates begin.

For your charity

Help keeping your work visible. Share an existing link or a few notes if you choose, and we can help prepare a summary for you to check. Extra updates are optional, not a condition of funding.

Your own appeals and supporter relationships can continue alongside the fund. The amount available depends on contributions and allocation decisions, so membership does not promise a fixed income.

For the people giving

Your support.
A shared effort.

You back the work, and help make it easier for people to find the charities behind it.

We take on fund research, explain the organisations’ work and bring their news together. Charities can share existing material rather than create extra donor reports for us. That is how the fund is designed to reduce the fundraising and communications work they need to do themselves.

The fund’s payment record shows money distributed. Charity updates describe the work, with sources and dates. A pooled contribution does not mean one person’s payment caused a particular result.

What we agree
with your charity.

Your public profile.

An authorised contact checks the description, sources and any permitted images. Tell us when a fact changes or needs clarification so we can review and correct it.

Participation and funding.

Confirm the charity’s contact and payment arrangements, funding purpose and ordinary accountability before funding. Fund boards decide membership and allocations.

Your choice to share news.

Extra news, publicity and beneficiary stories are optional. Your charity can check a summary prepared from material it shares, without committing to a monthly reporting task.

The practical questions

What to expect.

Which charities do you consider?

Smaller registered charities whose work fits a fund’s cause or place. We begin with the England and Wales register and look at actual delivery, evidence and financial context. The fund’s purpose guides consideration.

Does an enquiry mean we are selected?

No. An enquiry starts a conversation and review. Fund boards decide membership using relevant expertise, experience and research. Participation is confirmed with the charity. A decision about one fund’s fit is not a judgement on every part of your work.

How much money can we expect, and when?

The amount available depends on contributions to the fund and its allocation decisions. Membership does not promise equal shares or a fixed monthly payment. Payment arrangements and any funding conditions are agreed with your charity before funding.

Can we use the funding for running costs?

The funding purpose and any restrictions are agreed with your charity. We look at the resources your work needs, including its operating costs, rather than treating a low overhead ratio as proof of quality.

Do we have to produce reports or promote the fund?

Extra news, reporting and publicity are optional, and are not conditions of membership or funding. We use available published material and can help prepare a summary from what you choose to share. Ordinary accountability and agreed funding conditions remain separate.

How does We Fund Good cover its costs?

A small processing fee is added to supporters’ contributions, with the total shown before they give. Sponsorship helps keep We Fund Good’s work going. There is no charge to make an enquiry here.

Let’s find
the connection.

Tell us what your charity does and who it reaches.

A charity number, delivery area and a link to existing information are a good start. You can suggest a fund or ask us about the fit.

This is an enquiry, with no commitment to participate.
