Support before problems grow

Invictus Wellbeing combines therapeutic work with practical emotional support for children and young adults in West Yorkshire. Its school partnerships include counselling, workshops, peer support and help for parents and carers, giving schools several ways to respond when a young person is struggling. S101

A place to start with BREW

The Calderdale BREW Project offers one-to-one support for ages 5-17 experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing difficulties. Its approaches include counselling, emotional-wellbeing sessions and structured work on worries, sleep and everyday activity. Sessions can take place face to face or by video. S102

Access takes time: when checked on 15 October 2026, the Calderdale page listed an approximately five-month wait. That is a published waiting-time estimate for this pathway, rather than an immediate offer of support. S102

Staying alongside the move into adulthood

For ages 16-25, the Open Minds Transition Support Service pairs each young person with a wellbeing or therapeutic practitioner. Counselling and check-ins sit alongside peer groups, creative activities, volunteering and help finding other services. The approach recognises that moving into adulthood involves everyday life as well as conversations in a therapy room. S103

More than one route into support

Support can start with a school partnership, a first conversation through BREW, or a practitioner helping with the move into adulthood. Together, they give this charity a distinctive focus on meeting young people at different stages of growing up. S101, S103

The detail behind the work

The annual figures describe the whole charity for the year ended 31 March 2025. Its official annual return, retained from the 12 October 2026 extract, supplies the spending categories. The figures describe accounting classifications, not a measure of the results of its services. S001, S020
