Fund focus
The ten boroughs of Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester is a region of distinct communities. This fund focuses on smaller charities delivering community support across Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan. The connection comes from services reaching people, rather than an office postcode.

These five examples bring together practical support for children, women seeking work, people facing homelessness, young people and families living with dementia. The current examples are concentrated in Manchester and Salford, while the fund continues to research charities across all ten boroughs.

  • Practical community support
  • Local services responding to hardship
  • Researching a broader mix of services across the ten boroughs

    How this helps charities

The giving. The costs.

The amount designated for charities goes into the charitable pool. A small processing fee is added, with the total shown before you give.

A continuing connection.

Monthly giving builds an ongoing connection with a focused group of charities. The size of the pool depends on contributions, so it does not promise a fixed income.
